- Egypt is a country connecting southwest corner of Middle East with the northeast corner of Africa.

- Egypt was founded 3150 BC. Egypt was colonized by the British and attained their independence in 1922 but the British still influenced the country in a great way. For instance the Suez Canal still remained under the control of the British.

- The longest serving king in the history of the earth was found in Egypt whose name was Pharaoh Pepi II who served for 94 years. This king used to smear honey on the naked bodies of the slaves so as to make sure no flies would be attracted to him.
- The popular and the biggest pyramid in Egypt which is known as pyramid of Khufu was constructed for more than 20 years as a burial site for King Khufu. It was put up using more than two million limestone blocks, whereby the weight of one block is estimated to be equal to the weight of two and a half elephant. The base of the pyramid occupies a total area equivalent to five football pitches.
- The climatic condition in Egypt is usually warm and dry during the summer. The warm season starts from the month of May of every year all the way up to the month of October. The wet season starts from the month of October all through to the month of May of the following year.
- About 96 percent of the land of Egypt is a desert. The shoreline of Egypt has a total length of 2,450 kilometers (1,522 miles).
- The natural resources found in Egypt are petroleum, natural gas, phosphates and iron core. The main crops grown in Egypt are fiber crops, sugar crops, forage crops, food legumes, vegetables and fruits such as grips, figs and dates.
